## Role Overview: Import Document Staff
The Import Document Staff plays a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency of our global trade operations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of import documentation, ensuring that every shipment complies with international trade regulations and internal company standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Documentation Management: Execute, verify, and archive all import-related documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
* Compliance Assurance: Ensure all documents strictly adhere to international trade laws, customs regulations, and internal standard operating procedures.
* Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate seamless logistics.
* Logistics Monitoring: Track shipment progress and proactively resolve any discrepancies or document gaps that could impede the customs clearance process.
* Reporting: Prepare periodic status reports for management regarding import activities and documentation timelines.
* Audit Readiness: Maintain a systematic and organized filing system to ensure full compliance for future audits and reporting requirements.

Requirements
