## Role Overview and Key Responsibilities
As an Accountant at our Nila Breeding Center, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity and providing actionable insights that drive our operational efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Financial Reporting: Executing accurate transaction recording and preparing comprehensive financial statements.
* Cost Management: Calculating cultivation costs, including feed, seed, and overall operational expenses, while determining precise Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
* Asset Monitoring: Conducting regular oversight of inventory and biological assets, specifically tracking fish stocks within our ponds.
* Partnership Administration: Managing records related to cultivation partnerships and profit-sharing agreements.
* Operational Analysis: Performing cost control measures and variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
* Performance Metrics: Compiling detailed profitability reports per pond and per cultivation cycle to support data-driven management decisions.
## Professional Requirements
To be successful in this position, you must possess a blend of technical accounting expertise and a willingness to understand the practical aspects of aquaculture. Candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Experience: A minimum of one year of professional experience in Accounting or Costing roles.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Excel and various accounting software packages.
* Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent communication capabilities.
* Field Adaptability: A genuine willingness to learn and engage with the hands-on realities of fish cultivation.
* Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience within the fisheries or manufacturing sectors will be considered a significant advantage.
