The Division of Law and Policy Reform at Komnas Perempuan is currently expanding its team. This division oversees comprehensive legal transformations, managing everything from program planning and budgeting to implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
The division actively performs several core responsibilities:
* Reviewing statutory substances and bills to eliminate violence against women and advance gender equality.
* Conducting formal and material reviews of legislation, including regional regulations, to ensure constitutional and human rights harmonization.
* Analyzing international human rights instruments, expert reports, UN special rapporteur guidelines, and global agreements to inform local and national policies.

We are currently hiring for two vital assistant coordinator positions on a one-year contract basis.
1. National-Level Policy Analysis and Advocacy Assistant Coordinator

Role Overview
This position centers on driving high-level research, evaluating national regulations, formulating strategic recommendations, and spearheading advocacy campaigns concerning national statutory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Division Coordinator in researching, analyzing, evaluating, and formulating policy recommendations regarding national regulations.
* Support lobbying efforts and national-level women's human rights advocacy.
* Develop comprehensive work plans and annual budgets for divisional programs.
* Draft terms of reference (ToR), budget proposals, and programmatic financial reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Execute advocacy tasks, program implementations, and budget management as assigned.
* Map relevant stakeholders for national-level lobbying and advocacy initiatives.
* Prepare meeting summaries and facilitate cross-divisional internal communication regarding planning and execution.
* Engage with legislative, executive, and judicial partners, civil society organizations, and the general public.

Qualifications Required
* Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1), preferably in Law or Social Sciences.
* At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
* Demonstrated expertise in conducting quantitative and qualitative policy research and evaluations focused on human rights.
* Deep knowledge of and commitment to victim-centered justice principles, including strict confidentiality practices.
* Proven proficiency in legal drafting.
* Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
* Flexibility to travel on short notice and capacity for high-pressure field deployments during urgent situations.

* Drive lobbying initiatives and regional women's human rights advocacy campaigns.
* Design tactical work plans and budgetary requirements for regional initiatives.
* Draft terms of reference, funding requests, and accountability reports for regional programs.
* Execute field-based advocacy and manage allocated budgets effectively.
* Conduct comprehensive stakeholder mapping for regional lobbying efforts.
